KOLINDA : KOLINDA (HUNGARY'76)

Eastern Folk Masterpiece

aka Kantàta
aka I
aka Kolinda I

Kolinda plays complex folk music with diverse instrumentation and with medieval and Eastern influences. They lived in France for a time, and were produced by Hughes de Courson of the French folk group Malicorne.Using their Hungarian roots for stunning progressive Folk, long tracks with male and female vocals (often used as an additional instrument) and a multitude of acoustic instruments including acoustic guitars, percussion, mandocello, darbouka, violin, flutes, mandolin, double bass, gardon and other unusual instruments. This is their first album. Highly recommended if you´re into Mormos,Incredible Sting Band,Comus,Dando Shaft & similar.
