ESTES BROTHERS : TRANSITIONS (US'71)

KILLER STUFF!!

Plus 8 Bonus Tracks

Heavy-Psychedelic monster recorded in Ohio 1971,an original lp is near impossible to find (only 100 pressed). The music is outstanding:gutsy bluesy hardrock mixed with "that" lysergic blend of those late sixties S.F. bands like Quicksilver Messenger Service & Mad River - contains 8 bonus tracks (home and live recordings). One of the best US psychedelic hardrock albums ever.If you like Bubble Puppy,Truth and Janey or other similar US bands featuring melodic vocals and fluid, jamminmg wah-wah acid guitar solos then you'll love this!!The sound quality is surprisingly good with Joe Estes' drums and John Estes' lead guitar seemingly getting special attention in the mix. This album has become legendary amongst music connoisseurs and record collectors world wide.

Originals in M/M condition now change hands for over 1000USD.

Hey many thanks for the Estes, however I am struggling to like this one :(

When I compare this to the stuff that Faces, Yardbirds, Jeff Beck, early LedZep were doing at the time, this is not so good - or am I missing something here :)
