Dark Heavy-Prog Gem

Bram Stoker were a British band of which little or nothing is known.Even recent searches didn't come up with anything new about this band that in 1972 recorded their sole album.Their name evokes something dark, gothic but also their music is darkish,as in a band inspired by the "prince of darness".Yet Paul Henry, who introduced them to the Windmill Records label, didn't point on those traits of their art, even in a period when Black Widow,Atomic Rooster and Black Sabbath were at the top of the charts. As its title announces,Heavy Rock Spectacular is a spectacular album for the fans of Hammond dominated British Heavy-Prog.We only know the name of their keyboard player,T. Bronsdon, while of the other members we know they were in the session-men circuit of the underground period.
