Saga of the Ice King is perhaps the rarest album from 1979. This album is now collectable and valued at over 500USD for a M/M copy.Ice played many bike rallies and performed twice at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms.They disbanded in 1982.
P.S.:It sounds a little muffled.(I got it in an mp3 trade so...)

Thanks for posting ICE-Saga of The Ice King. This is one coooool LP. I love how they change moods. Asgard is a fine ass tune.

Wow, this looks just fucking incredible. If this is anything like the last album I found about Asgard by a prog band (Asgard - In the Realm of Asgard) then this should win hard.
However, as of this writing (04/07/08) the rapidshare link is don for Ice. Is there any chance you might be able to re-up it? I would love to distribute this to the blog I contribute to as well should I ever get ahold of it.

I have just come accross this page and it is nice to know that the album 'Saga of the Ice King' is still being talked about. I was the co-writer and singer with Ice and the concept and storyline of the album was my idea.
So thank you again for keeping it in the public domain

Nice to know that the album is still highly regarded. My Dad was the bass player. The album was recorded in our Garden shed converted into a studio. My Dad ( Colin), Mick, Paul, Andy and Steve used to all rehearse there. The album is like a soundtrack of my youth!
